Vegan cooking has turned out to be one of Chef Joe’s specialties. With so many requests for vegan menus from our clients, it has allowed Joe to really master the vegan lifestyle. Just last week we hosted a vegan dinner for 20 people and it went without a hitch. We started with a light country salad made of fresh baby greens with tomato and a balsamic dressing mixed with agave instead of honey as it is traditionally served. For the main course creamy mashed potatoes with soy milk, tofutti and margarine; BBQ beans; roasted fresh corn mixed with bell peppers and garlic and tasty vegetarian peppercorn steak from VegeUSA. Ending the night with soy chocolate cherry chip ice cream leaving all the guests in a vegan heaven.
