The spirit of youth was in bliss at the FOX Teen Choice After Party on August 10th, 2014. All around fun was had with Pinball, Pingpong, and Photo Booths. Party goers rode waves through the party each one bringing them to a dock of deliciousness. Guests surfed from the Killer Taco Bar to the Pi Pizza and Pasta Station to the Cowabunga Burger and Fry Bar. Others boogie boarded directly to the Endless Candy Bar, The Cotton Candy Station, or the Cupcake Design Station.
At last the dance floor awakened and the party lived on into the night. The Shrine Auditorium had become our beach for one night.
Last weekend we served it up proper in La Canada Flintridge, taking great care of all the guests at the home of a longtime client. The menu featured Filet Mignon and Chilean Seabass. The night night was robust with appetizers like Golden Beet Towers w/ Goat Cheese and a Hummus Peak, Chicken Basil Cakes w/ Fresh Mozz and Cherry Tomato, and Lobster Grougeres. As the sun descended we entered the outdoors and placed every meal with precision time. And then….desert and coffee. Wild Berry Shortcake Towers w/ Bourbon Whipped Cream on top a lagoon of fresh citrus raspberry sauce. Cheers!
We had a great time working with Machinima this year at the Inside Gaming Awards. It was sponsored by I, Frankenstein and dressed up as the party of the future with glowing red globes spread out amongst darkness and internally illuminating tables. Yes, the party was in full Machinima chic but the food was in full Epicurean glory with hors d’oeuvres like Crab & Mango Empanadas, Pistachio Lamb Meatballs w/ Pomegranate Glaze, Curried Spring Rolls, and Savory Black Bean Cupcakes w/ Sweet Potato Frosting. When will there be an award for best food at an award show?
We are happy to be apart of the wonderful and fashionable Saks Fifth Avenue. If you haven’t gone please go and shop till you drop. You might even get to try some of our food. They get tray passed around for their exclusive customers so head over to Beverly Hills and become one too!!!
I have one word for you when it comes to planning your little girl’s baby shower….. PINK!!! I know it seems redundant and of course why not pink? its a girl not a baby blue boy. Duh! Well Instead of just having a pink banner or pink balloons why not think outside the box. Here are some pics from past baby showers that can give you a little inspiration to create a pinktastic party!!!
Now-a-days you can just go on your computer and find candy companys and get candy in specific colors such as PINK!
Baby stroller sugar cookies in a pink woven basket, Vanilla bean cake with white poke-a-dot fondant on outside and pink poke-a-dot balls on the inside.
Personalize your pink fans and water bottles for those hot summer days with you and your spouses name to commemorate the special occasion.
Pink rubber bracelets from the Made with Love in Africa Foundation. Made from recycled rubber all proceeds go to the support of homeless mothers and making sure their kids get to go to school. such a great thing to give back and still add a nice little twist of party favors to the party.
when labeling your candy or food why not bling it out! everything can be found at Michael’s arts and craft stores.
White and dark chocolate dipped strawberries with pink sprinkles.
Pink red velvet cake pops with silver sprinkles.

What a “Great” evening Hosted by Project Angel Food and Brooks Brothers for a private screening of The Great Gatsby. After the screening all guests were invited to the Brooks Brothers on Rodeo drive for drinks and food provided by Epicurean Events Los Angeles. F. Scott Fitzgerald was not only one of the greatest American writers of the 20th century but was also a loyal customer to Brooks Brothers as well. When designing all the clothes you see in Baz Luhrmann’s Gatsby, costume designer Catherine Martin teamed up with Brooks Brothers to recreate this beautiful era in fashion. They still have records of what clothes Fitzgerald bought from Brooks Brothers during that time period and used those specific styles to recreate the suits you see worn by Leonardo Dicaprio and Tobey Maguire in the film.
To Keep the theme rolling our bar served classic cocktails, such as Blood Orange Manhattans and a Ginger Fizzes. Executive Chef Joe Melillo kept it classy too with a menu that was timeless and unforgettable. With petit beef wellingtons and lemon caper salmon that just melted on your fork, there was not an empty mouth. Yukon gold potato cakes topped with Gorgonzola crumble, braised artichokes with a sherry gastrique, grilled asparagus with hollandaise sauce and you can’t forget about our traditional Caesar salad tossed on the spot by our Chef Max. With delicious food, refreshing drinks and classy fashion, you could imagine that Gatsby himself had something to do with this swanky soiree.

What a pleasure it was to cater a second year in a row for Fox’s The New Girl starring Zoe Deschanel. It was a full house at the Academy of Television Arts & Sciences , to watch a an episode of the hit show followed by a Q and A with the entire cast. Afterwards all the guest enjoyed appetizers designed by our executive Chef Joe Melillo. We would also like to send a shout out to one of our outstanding employees Chris Wallinger who was actual cast with a guest star roll on The New Girl. Not only is he one of our great servers but an outstanding actor as well. We at EELA wish him the best of luck in his ventures and cant wait to see what he does next.
